Clinical Laboratory Technology (CLT) Schools and Colleges

Clinical Laboratory Technicians (CLTs) or Medical Laboratory Technicians (MLTs) are required to earn an associate's degree from an approved training program and then pass a certification exam, which is administered by the American Society for Clinical Pathology Board of Certification and American Medical Technologists (AMT).

If you want to become a Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) or Medical Technologist (MT) then you'll need to earn a bachelor's degree in a related field of study and complete a Clinical Laboratory Science or Medical Technology program from an accredited school, hospital system or university. Once you've successfully completed your bachelor's degree and your training program you must pass a certification exam before you'll be able to practice.

Below you'll find colleges and universities providing associate's degrees, bachelor's degree and training programs for student wanting to pursue a career in clinical or medical laboratory technology.
