Emergency Medicine Schools and Colleges

Emergency medicine specialists are medical doctors who offer medical treatments to patients with life-threatening injuries and illnesses. Medical schools do not require a specific bachelor’s degree to be admitted, but certain classes must be completed prior to admission. Prospective doctors are encouraged to study pre-medicine, biology, or other scientific majors as undergraduates. Students can also prepare for emergency medicine by taking physiology, anatomy, biology, and chemistry courses. They’re also encouraged to volunteer at hospitals or other medical clinics.

Explore schools, colleges, and universities offering accredited degrees, career training programs and continuing education courses in emergency medicine.
