Radiologic Technologist/Radiology Schools and Colleges

Radiography training programs can be completed at the bachelor’s, associate’s, and certificate levels. Most radiologic technologists hold associate’s degrees. It usually takes 6-12 months to complete a certificate program. Students in these programs complete coursework and clinical training in image assessment, radiation safety, patient care, pathology, and anatomy.

The Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) certifies quality radiography training programs. Certain states only certify radiologic technologists who’ve completed an accredited training program.

High school students aspiring to work in radiographic technology should prepare by completing various math classes and physics, physiology, chemistry, biology, and anatomy classes.

Below you'll find a national directory of radiologic technology schools and colleges.
